Deborah (2016)
A Scottish rom-com about a relationship trapped and warped by time, against the backdrop of a sweeping Scottish landscape. After 45 years of time travel which has made her age, Deborah keeps her promise to go on a date with her boyfriend. The film explores the notion of falling out of love overnight – yet also over 45 years. People and relationships change over time, and yet how some connections never die.
This project was made possible by producer Kiana Kalantar-Hormozi, who produced this project as part of their dissertation submission at Screen Academy Scotland.
